Upload a photo or paste an image URL, and our facial recognition models scan millions of publicly indexed web pages, social media profiles, news sites, and image archives to find where that face appears online — usually in under three seconds.

How AI face search works

When you submit an image, AI Face Scan detects the face, converts it into a high-dimensional embedding (a numerical fingerprint), and compares that fingerprint against billions of pre-indexed faces from the public web. Every result includes a match confidence score so you can quickly judge true matches versus look-alikes.

The pipeline is built for accuracy on difficult inputs: non-frontal angles, partial occlusion, low resolution, and compression artifacts. You can search by photo upload (JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 10 MB), by pasting any public image URL, or by capturing a photo from your device camera.
